Power Intro

     Nearly all men stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power. This means that power can get to people in a way that can change them completely. I agree because many people may seem like a great person such as many revolt leaders who became the head of their countries but then completely let their power go to their heads. This can be clearly seen in The Necromancer. In The Necromancer, many characters grow stronger with power and then completely change from kind and generous to greedy and corrupt. People can change with power because they can become greedy, too powerful, and blinded metaphorically.

The Necromancer

I chose the book The Necromancer because the title seemed interesting. My topic is power and usually a necromancer is someone with magical powers. The Necromancer is about two people who are fighting against others who have powers but use them for the wrong purposes. The book was written by Michael Scott.

A Hero

In his quote, Christopher was explaining that true heroes are those who can over come their struggles. Those who over come their struggles will be able to go somewhere in life. I agree with his quote. His quote explains the way of life basically. I have met many people who would fit the description of this quote. Many people I know have faced many problems such as death in their family and even though bad things may happen they just seem to over come such stuff ad move on with life. Many people don't understand but if you can have perseverance you can overcome anything.
